Overview
The RACTS 2000 series provides correctional facilities with a fully featured inmate telephone system for small facilities. Prison management benefits because they can control inmate privileges, call duration limits, and phone access times. The use of a PIN number system allows each call to be identified by the inmate making the call.
The service provider benefits because Public Sector Technologies allows carrier routing for cost control, cost efficient operation, and the technology is outside of the phone instrument and thus safe from vandalism. Expanded voice prompts provide the inmate with detailed information about the status of the call.
